FIRST Lego League World Festival (Houston) 2018

The ADSS Robotics Enterprise team emerged overall champions in the FIRST Lego League (Singapore). For this achievement, the ADSS team was selected as the Singapore representative for the FIRST Lego League World Festival in Houston, USA. The team's endeavour in the USA, from 18 to 21 April 2018, was sponsored by the Info-communications and Media Development Authority (IMDA), National Infocomm Competitions (NIC), and supported by Duck Learning.


Faced with stiff competition from 107 teams from all around the world, the ADSS team achieved 16th in the category "Best Robot Performance". In addition, the team also had the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of STEM education in the USA through visits to the famous NASA Space Center and Downtown Aquarium in Houston.
