Dream Actualisation Retreat (DARe) Programme for Graduating Students

The Dream Actualisation Retreat (DARe) programme is a series of workshops designed to better support graduating Admirals, their parents and teachers. Through these workshops, Admirals undergo learning activities which help them discover their strengths and learning styles. These activities also focus Admirals’ attention on their aspirations in the lead-up to the National Examinations.

Another core component of the DARe programme is the Early Admission Exercise (EAE) workshop conducted in collaboration with lecturers from Nanyang Polytechnic for our students to hone their writing and interview skills in preparation for their EAE applications to the courses of their interests.

The end of DARE programme culminated with a sharing by nine professionals which provided Admirals with insights to their professions, and challenges faced. An exhibition by Polytechnics and ITEs also helped Admirals learn the pathways taken by these professionals. These initiatives have raised Admirals’ awareness of expectations for life beyond secondary school.
