As your child moves from primary to secondary school, it is natural that you want to ensure that your child is prepared to the best of their abilities. In this issue of Parent Kit, we provide parents with tips on what they can do to ensure a smooth and successful transition to S1.
2. ADSS PSG Welcome Letter
PSG provides a great opportunity for us to be closer to our children. Our children benefit greatly when we understand them better, and they tend to show a more positive attitudes. The school and PSG would like to extend our invitation to you to join in this meaningful partnership.
3. MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS)
Application for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS)
- The objective of the MOE FAS is to provide financial assistance to Singaporean students who need financial assistance for their studies.
How to apply?
- Hardcopy Application Forms are available from the School’s General Office
- You may also download a copy here.
- You can return the completed for to the school and school will inform you of the outcome.
- Please submit the Application Form with ALL the supporting documents at the earliest convenience so that the School is able to process it soonest.

4. Annual School-Based Health & Dental Services
- The Health Promotion Board (HPB)’s School Health and Dental Services will be conducting its annual health screening, immunisation and dental services for your child. These services ensure the protection of your child’s health and early detection of health issues. We appreciate your partnership with HPB to give our children a healthier start in life.
- A letter will be sent to you via Parents Gateway within the first week of school. You will need to provide your consent to these services.
- CCA Prospectus 2024
- Education at Admiralty Secondary School (ADSS) aims to provide students with a holistic education that will provide opportunities for each student to explore and be developed in the special areas that will allow him/her to grow as a whole person. Apart from the core academic work and the enrichment activities, ADSS offers a range of co-curricular activities (CCAs) that cater to the students’ varied interests and capabilities.
- This prospectus aims to provide reference for new students of ADSS and to help them decide which CCA is suitable for them. It is intended to guide the student to understand what is involved in each CCA, whether it will suit him/her and the likely commitment called for.
